Order matters here. First you register for roadmaps, if you are here to study. The second step is a subscription on Ko-Fi, for extra resources and specific role. Next you can join substack and finally follow us on LinkedIN.
Applying for VCP is a conversation, not a single form you have to fill in. There is no fee and no subscription, and no application is accepted before a quiz has been passed. Make sure you have performed the learning and you have the required social presence on any of LinkedIN, GitHub, BlueSky, Reddit, X Twitter, Discord or Substack.
Roadmaps, quizzes, certificates and profiles are produced by volunteers and paid for by the community. Supporting the Lab on GitHub is separate from applying for VCP status, and it never changes a review outcome. Your status is granted on merit not on your monetary contribution.
The Ko-Fi shop covers hosting and tooling for the open-source projects. Every contribution is spent on the laboratory: domains, build infrastructure and development time for roadmaps and projects.
